Marillac Adopts The Sanctuary Model |
|
Marillac is the first facility in the state of Kansas to implement The Sanctuary Model. Founded by Dr. Sandra Bloom, Sanctuary is a trauma-informed method for creating or changing an organizational culture in order to more effectively provide a cohesive context within which healing from psychological and social traumatic experience can be addressed. Implementation of Sanctuary requires a three-year certification process. Learn more about The Sanctuary Model.
