We rely on the support of the community and individuals such as you to bring hope to children and families. Getting involved is easy. Country in the Woods - June 22, 2008 Corporate Woods Office Park

Lonestar headlines an evening of free country music also featuring Ashton Shepherd and Adam Gregory. Sponsored by the Overland Park South Rotary, the event is billed as the largest free music festival in the Kansas City area. All proceeds go to charities including Marillac Center.

Fun in the Sun
It's cold outside but the Marillac Team is already preparing fun summer activities for the children who call Marillac home. You can join our team by donating any of the following items:
  • Swimsuits (new) – adult sizes (small – extra large)
  • Swim Caps & Pool Towels
  • Open toed flip flops (not the thong type) (new)

Day of Caring
Volunteers from JE Dunn and MarketSphere converge on Marillac on June 7th to volunteer as part of the United Way Day of Caring. Volunteers will complete landscape projects and host a carnival for Marillac's children.

435 South Bachelor Event Benefits Marillac
Bidding was frenzied at the Second Annual Bachelor event hosted by 435 South Magazine. Ten of the city's most eligible single men put themselves on the auction block for charity. Marillac was the beneficiary and the event was highly successful, raising more than $11,000. The event was held at the Sheraton Overland Park on February 28th. Watch your calendars for the 2009 event which promises to be hot, hot, hot!
